We try to be open and transparent about every part of our business. The following is what you can expect in your experience in working with Marketeering Group:
We don’t really believe in sales. After all, we wouldn’t be a great marketing company if we had to buy a list to cold call, would we?
If you’re interested in our services, we are more than happy to provide free consultations and complimentary SEO reports to give you an idea for how our services would help you.
We understand that there is a lot to learn during this process and you’ll likely have to evaluate your budget. Normally, we expect this time of evaluation and consultation to take up to a month before you decide whether or not you’re ready to work with us. During this time, our goal is to provide you with all the answers to any questions you have in a timely manner.
Day 0 – Signing the Contract: Once you’re ready to get started, you’ll receive an email with a link to the contract that you can sign using an electronic signature.
Day 1 – Getting Passwords: Once the contract comes back to us, our onboarding specialist will send a welcome email, which will take care of your billing setup and a form so you can provide us with the passwords we’ll need to manage your account. These passwords are kept in a military-level encrypted system with centralized control by Marketeering Groups’ administration. This ensures that your passwords are safe and secure from hackers.
Day 2 – Strategy: Within a day after signing, your individual marketing team is assigned by each of our department heads. Everything you’ve discussed with us pre-signing is then shared with all the other team members in their various fields. The team then collaborates on a draft of your strategic plan that implements all of our tools and skills in order to achieve your stated goals.
Day 3-4- The Meeting: Our team will then want to meet with you either by conference call or in person to review our strategy, get your feedback, and adjust the plan according. The goal is to ensure we clearly understand your messaging, target audience, priorities, and voice, included any changes we think would help in those categories. We will also plan your first photo and video shoot during this meeting.
Day 5-7- Confirmation: Once every account and department is set up and ready to go, they will email you to confirm that we’re up and running.
The first month is an adjustment period, where we’re getting to know you and your brand. You may want to be talking more with our social media department to be sure that they understand your unique brand and the SEO team might have many detailed questions. Because of that, we consider the first month the “getting to know you” time frame.
45-day review: After about a month and a half, our team has gotten to know a lot about you, your audience and how everyone is reacting to the beginning of the campaign. At this point, we’ll touch base about any tweaks or adjustments in your campaign to ensure that we’re all on the same page.
Social media typically plans all of your postings based on the strategic plan in combination with either a phone call or email conversation with you. Expect regular contact from that department. During that time, they will also let you know if you have additional photo and video shoots and also offer ideas for add-on services or ad campaigns we’d recommend.
The blog calendar is normally set about 6 months in advance and is derived from a list of pre-approved topics. Our writers have a regular schedule to produce those and email the draft for review five days before it is scheduled to post. If we do not get feedback within that time frame, the blog will automatically post to your site. However, if you have changes or edits, we can take care of those revisions for you without a problem.
SEO operates on work and review sets. That means that at least once per month, our SEO department is reviewing your site’s functionality and performance to identify the highest priorities for improvement. During this time, they assign work to be done either on-site or off-site throughout the month. This will handled on our end, but you can monitor our progress through the provided reporting tools.
We use a system called Mavenlink that helps us track all of our our work throughout every department and also serves as a dashboard, recording everything we do for you. When we set up your account, you’ll get an invite to this dashboard so that all communication about your account is kept in one place. From there, you’ll be able to see every task, document, and plan in a centralized and easy-to-understand layout.
AWR Cloud is our system for tracking analytics and website results. While we still rely on many other tools internally, this system allows you to have a single dashboard to see your traffic, rankings, and social media postings in a neat and tidy display.
Individualized consulting is typically performed on an as-needed basis. If you’re ever curious about what is happening or want to take advantage of new systems or ideas, you can contact us and book a consulting meeting with either the entire team or just one expert or department head. During these meetings we prepare notes on past work and future plan as well as ideas for how we can make adjustments and improvements to the existing plan. It’s always good to have a consultation every 6 months or so. All you have to do to set it up is call our office and ask.
Consultation time can also be used to generate a special report. If you would like an educational document produced by a given department about the strategy being used in your campaign, we can get it to you within five business days. We’re always happy to do so, as transparency and client education is extremely important to us.
Remember, every bit of work we produce belongs to you the client. You have the right to request all copies of every photo, blog post or line of code written by our company.
Either way, we’ll be sad to see you go!
