What’s New at Marketeering Group in 2016

Every year we learn more from our clients about what is needed by small business owners in the digital marketing sphere, so we constantly adapt our services and technology based on trends and availability. We are pleased to introduce the 2016 Marketeering Group packages, designed to be more powerful and adaptable to better serve serve small business owners.

Changes to our Packages

Below are a few highlights of the changes we’re making to our services.

  • Package names. Because we’ve seen that our Basic Package is primarily a great solution for restaurants, spas, salons and other Main Street businesses, as well as small sole-proprietorships, we’ve decided to rename our Basic Package to Starter Package as it more accurately reflects the level of service one can expect from this package. The Advanced Package will now be called the Standard Package because the hours and services that are included have proven to be the most versatile and effective to meet moderate client goals to compete within their local service areas. The Premium Package keeps the same name.
  • Account management. We’ve found that democratic contributions to our clients’ upper level accounts have created a sense of ambiguity for some clients, so we’ve added a single point of contact for the Standard and Premium packages. Those account managers are the SEO strategist assigned to the account and will be the primary point of client contact for consulting or account updates. Standard packages will be assigned a mid-level consultant, while Premium and Custom packages will be assigned a senior-level SEO specialist.
  • Content Marketing. Content is still king, but trends we are seeing in 2016 indicate that that content should not be 100% focused on the blog, especially for more industrial industries. Because of this, we’ve added three new types of content marketing. The exact application of content marketing will be determined by the strategic plan, the SEO department’s analysis, and consulting with our clients. The three additional forms of content we’re adding are:
    • External blog posts. This is where we would write a guest blog post on the client’s behalf for a third party publication in order to increase visibility and authority.
    • On-site static content. Our SEO department often finds opportunities where static pages on our clients’ sites could be improved in order to increase traffic and rankings. We’ve now built it into our packages to have the ability to simply and quickly pivot by repurposing the content marketing pieces to take advantage of such opportunities as they arise.
    • General off-site content. In the past we’ve found that our hands have often been tied to quickly and efficiently create generic off-site content such as directory descriptions, video descriptions, and other miscellaneous information about our clients’ businesses on other websites. By adding this as an option, the SEO specialists may now simply direct the content writers to change a content marketing piece to fill the most immediate and effective need.
  • Social Media. Last year we added conversion campaigns, which are boosted posts of $15 each to reach a targeted audience of up to 5,000 people per post. While this was effective for some clients, it still did not fulfill the full extent of everyone’s social media needs. So, we’re adding a third option for social media: networking and engagement.
    • The Standard Package will now have the option to use two out of the three social media services as directed by the strategic plan, their strategist’s discretion, or consultation.
    • The Premium Package will have the option to use all three social media options with the ability to apply two or more social media credits upon the same service.
