Position Overview: We’re looking for a skilled UX/UI designer with a strong focus on website design to join our team at Marketeering Group. 

The UX/UI Designer will create design mock-ups for UX-focused marketing websites, with the goal of connecting our clients to their ideal customers. Our ideal candidate will have an eye for appealing visual design, experience designing for the web, and a love for creating user-friendly interfaces. 

You will work closely with our in-house team of developers and cross-functional teams, including project managers, account strategists, content strategists, and SEO specialists, to deliver intuitive, user-centered website experiences for our clients.

Responsibilities:

• Design website mock-ups with user experience as the top priority
• Incorporate both general user experience best practices, as well as strategic UX, based on the client’s business and goals
• Build wireframes to showcase the content layout and user flow for web pages
• Build web page mock-ups in Adobe XD or other similar design software 
• Design mock-ups that meet all current web design standards 
• Work closely with developers to assess the viability of designs in the build phase
• Ensure that all designs will work optimally across mobile, tablet and desktop screens
• Incorporate accessibility through WCAG compliance in all designs
• Edit and optimize media for web designs
• Create custom graphics to support web designs
• Work with clients to identify website goals, needs and preferences
• Work with other departments to implement cross-department marketing strategies
• Other duties, as assigned, to support the work of the Development department

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of current web design principles and standards
• Experience designing specifically for the web
• An excellent eye for broadly appealing visual design
• Strong knowledge of UX strategies and best practices
• High proficiency in Adobe XD or similar web design software
• Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud apps, including Photoshop and Illustrator
• Strong communication, client interaction, and teamwork skills
• Experience designing Lottie and/or SVG animations is a plus
• User research and testing experience is a plus
• Basic knowledge of WordPress is a plus
